About
We’re told that we don’t want to meet our childhood heroes, but when Hazel finds her
savior, she can swear fate brought them together. The more she gets to know him, the more
she realizes their story is far beyond what she could have ever imagined. It’s a shame they
never quite synced up . . . but how many times can fate bring two people together before
giving up?
“I was on the verge of losing my life at summer camp, and he was my prince on a white
horse. Even so, we’d never met . . . not until now. Sometimes I wonder if there was someone
against us, or maybe we were wrong for each other. After all, no matter how hard we try to
deny it, we’ve always been closer to each other than we could have ever imagined.”
